Robinson Family Party

Aimee and Trent hosted the family party last Saturday. It was great to see everyone. Reid and I were there along with Melissa and Mike. Jennifer came a little later. Janet came with Becky and her kids and Emily and Ryan and their kids were here from Pennsylvania.

Mary popped in for a moment with baby Samuel. Karen and Jim were there with Mandy, Brynne, and Lana (who just became engaged to Sean...brave girl to come and meet the family without Sean there). Nicole and Shane and their kids came from Idaho Falls. Rachel, Greg and Braydon were the first to arrive followed closely by Chris and Maria. It was great to see them and hear about their missionary.

Tom, Alane and Erika were there with Caitlin and Zach. Also, Steve, Jordan and Piper and John Day. We missed Erin.

The kids stayed down in the playroom and had a great time running around. We could tell because when they did come up to eat everyone had rosy cheeks and beads of sweat.

I wish we had taken more pictures. We figured there were 32 adults and 12 children. There was a house full. Quite a group.

Kitchen Remodel Continues

The Kitchen remodel continues. Over Thanksgiving, the boys (Reid, Trent and Mike) decided to redo the lighting in our kitchen. They thought they could do it in two days and they probably would have made it except they pulled a little too hard on one of the boards they were taking out and went through the living room wall too.

They did take the wall out, drywalled the ceiling and walls, taped and mudded and sanded so the majority of the mess was over.
Trent was able to get the texture on the walls and ceiling over Christmas. It looks great. It is now time for primer and paint. It will be so great to get this part finished.
Light fixtures hanging down weren't a great Christmas look for me so I added the wreath decoration over the table to distract from the construction.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everybody! Hope that you are doing well. We have several inches of snow here and expect more today -- good day to stay home.
Santa flew over last night reminding the kids to get to bed so he could deliver presents and he dropped off the usual pj's as incentive with a highway flare. Everyone is coming at different times, but we hope to open presents later and have dinner all together.
Everyone finally got here. Kaylee loved her doll and Tyson his Geo Tracks airplane. Cameron was a bit overwhelmed. Have a great Christmas Day!

Fairy Tree 2008

This year is our "fairy" tree. We added the ornaments in the window on ribbons. I think it turned out well.
